Bernier Endorsed by Wisconsin Corn Growers Association

Eau Claire – The Wisconsin Corn Growers’ Association (WCGA) political action committee – CORN PAC – has announced their endorsements in key races across Wisconsin during the general election set for Tuesday, November 6th. Chippewa Valley legislator Kathy Bernier, who represents the 68th Assembly District, has received the CORN PAC endorsement as she seeks a second term to the state Assembly.

Contained in the release announcing their endorsements, WCGA President Brian Long stated, “These candidates know what it takes to protect Wisconsin farmers from the many challenges faced in the industry today. We (WCGA) believe that if elected, they will work hard to represent our point of view.”

The Wisconsin Corn Growers Association represents the interests of Wisconsin’s corn growers on Federal, State, and Local issues.

“I am honored to have the support of farmers from the Chippewa Valley and am very pleased to receive the endorsement of the WCGA,” stated Bernier upon hearing of the endorsement. “Wisconsin’s agriculture industry is not only vital to our overall economy, but to many it is a way of life that is uniquely Wisconsin. I look forward to continuing my work on behalf of Wisconsin’s farming families and ensuring that prosperity of our agriculture economy remains one of our state’s top priorities.”

Bernier represents the 68th Assembly District, which includes portions of Chippewa, Clark, Eau Claire, Jackson, and Trempealeau Counties.
